SMALL LADY

(THE PICTURE OPENS WITH SOFT PASTELS IN A COLORED PENCIL EFFECT. IT'S SPRING. SAKURA ARE FALLING IN THE FOREGROUND. THERE IS A SMALL HANAKO LAUGHING.)

HANAKO
(VOICE ONLY): It was spring, just before I was going to start my first day at school. Then I saw a sad maiden at the edge of a pond.

(LITTLE HANAKO PEERS INTO A POND. SHE LOOKS UP AND SEES A NUDE MAIDEN IN THE POND CRYING. THE NUDE MAIDEN'S ARMS ARE COVERING HER BREASTS.)

HANAKO
(VOICE ONLY): We looked everywhere. She continued to cry until I found them.

MAIDEN

(VOICE ONLY): She put on her hagoromono and disappeared into the sky. I never forgot her sad face, or that day. Her sad face sometimes reminds me of myself...I sometimes feel that I am a tennyo without her hagoromono.

[Hitsuji: This does not convey the rude form of speech that Seishin is using. So here is a loose translation- "Uso! Anta wa okii usotsuki da! Uso ja nai! Kikonakatta!" This would be to someone she does not know, therefore is intended to be rude.]

[Hitsuji: That would be a pun. "Uso" is also birdfinch and "Tsuki" is also moon.]

HANAKO
Yes, that's quite rude! Tis it not true that I, Toshinoh Hanako, am the best beauty and the most graceful? I certainly am more so than the likes of you, whom I have not seen act so gracefully. It's clearly true, Ms. Uchinoh-san.

SEISHIN

(A PICTURE OF REI AND USAGI STICKING OUT THEIR TONGUES APPEARS FULL SCREEN AND THEN GROWS SMALLER INTO A THOUGHT BUBBLE.)

DIANA
You have to help yourself Small Lady if you are to become a true lady! You must be able to mend the rift between these two! You are their leader!

HANAKO
You talk quite rudely to a cat of the royal family. I find it dispicable that your manners have so greatly degraded since I saw you last. I fare thee well, I will see you tomorrow in school.

HANAKO
(THINKING): Hmph! I've never needed friends before, and I most certainly do not need them now. Family is certainly what's important.

SMALL LADY
That doesn't matter... we are all senshi... we are a team! Can't we all be friends? Besides, I understand how she feels.

(A GREEN COCOON APPEARS IN THE AIR ABOVE ON A SIDE STREET AND GRADUALLY GROWS. THE INSIGNIA OF THE CABACHONS APPEARS IN RED ON THE OUTSIDE. THE COCOON WIGGLES UNTIL IT GLOWS GREEN. THE COCOON BURSTS OPEN.)

(RAGE CONSUMES THE LADY AND SHE TURNS BACK INTO GALL TENNYO WEARING ONLY A TUNIC.)

HANAKO
I am not a man! Besides, no Tennyo is ungraceful as that! Ceres Crystal Power, Make up!

GALL TENNYO
Since you won't tell me where the Hagoromono is, Celestial Confusion!

(SMALL LADY CATCHES UP TO THE SCENE AND SEES SAILOR CERES ON THE GROUND. SHE STANDS IN BETWEEN SAILOR CERES AND GALL TENNYO. SHE FACES GALL TENNYO.)

ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON
You attacked an innocent girl that wanted to help you! I cannot forgive you! I am the pretty sailor-suited solider for love and justice, Sailor Chibimoon! In the name of the moon I will punish you!

SAILOR VESTA
...and I am Sailor Vesta, in the name of the asteriod Vesta, I will punish you!

A few seconds ago. I decided that you might be right. Just MIGHT be.

(THE PICTURE BECOMES SKEWED AND THE SOUND OF HER HEART BEATING BECOMES LOUDER. THE PICTURE BECOMES BLACK. IT OPENS BACK UP TO HANAKO HELPING HER MOTHER. SHE LOOKS AT HER FRIEND ON THE GROUND. HANAKO SCREAMS.)

(ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON BATTLES GALL TENNYO ONE ON ONE. SHE JUMPS OUT OF THE WAY OF HER ATTACKS, AND THEN KICKS GALL TENNYO.)

GIRL 2
It's her fault that Tomomi fell from that tree. She picked her mother over her own best friend!

(HANAKO SITS IN THE CORNER QUIETLY. SHE HIDES A TEAR THAT SLIPS DOWN HER CHEEK.)

(GALL TENNYO GRABS ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON FROM THE BACK. ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON SCREAMS.)

(SAILOR CERES TURNS HER HEAD TOWARDS GALL TENNYO. HER EYES TURN BACK TO NORMAL.)

(SAILOR CERES'S PETALS COIL AROUND SAILOR VESTA'S LASH AND HIT GALL TENNYO. THE PETALS BURN UP IN A TORRENT OF FIRE.)

SAILOR CERES
I'm sorry Lady Tennyo, but I must remind you of who you are. You never lost your hagoromono. It's inside of you. You're ability to fly to heaven is still in you, but you've forgotten.

ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON
Heal? Alright, then! Pink Starlight Honeymoon Healing Kiss!

(THE TENNYO'S HAGOROMONO APPEARS. SHE SMILES BEFORE LOOKING UP AND DISAPPEARING.)

(TOMOMI IS AT THE BASE OF THE TREE SHE FELL FROM. YOUNG HANAKO HOLDS HER HAND AS THE PARAMEDICS COME IN.)

TOMOMI
(VOICE ONLY): I don't care if you're a Toshinoh! To me, you're just Hanako and I want to be your friend forever!

(IT'S DARK OUTSIDE. THE SOFT LIGHTS OF THE STREETLIGHTS LINE THE STREET. CRYSTAL TOKYO IS LIT UP. THE VARIOUS CRYSTAL TOWERS ARE LIT UP FROM THE INSIDE. A SOFT LIGHT PERDOMINATES. SMALL LADY, DIANA, SEISHIN, AND HANAKO ARE ALL WALKING TOWARDS HANAKO'S HOUSE.)

SMALL LADY
So, that's why you need money, for Tomomi-san's operation?

(HANAKO SMILES.)

HANAKO
Also my allowance won't keep me up-to-date on the latest trends in clothes!

(SEISHIN SIGHS.)

SMALL LADY

DIANA

(VOICE ONLY): The Tennyo from my childhood was right-- I did have to choose, but Tomomi was right, too. So, I chose both.

(VOICE ONLY): Who is that? She looks strange riding a motorcycle like a man. She kind of reminds me of Haruka on a motorcycle.

SMALL LADY
(VOICE ONLY): She just transfered to our school, Diana! Does the school board allow motorcycles? If not, in the name of the moon I'll have to punish her.

SMALL LADY
(VOICE ONLY): Sailor Chibimoon Newmoon: A biker girl? She's the next Sailor Soldier?
